First a lunch space either near Lincoln Square or Upper West side- something light and casual (we'll be coming from ice skating at Wollman)

And then an afternoon coffee/people watching/dessert space for a post-MOMA treat?

Hi! I'm bringing my wife to NYC in early January for a birthday weekend. We're having dinner with friends on the Friday night and I'm taking her out Saturday. I'm trying to find a restaurant with a menu in the style of the Savoy but with a few vegetarian options (I'm a vegetarian; my wife eats fish).

We're staying on the Park, but later that evening we're headed into the West Village for jazz, so I'd prefer to go somewhere either in the Village or close to the upper West side.

Any ideas? Would prefer to stick within a $100 pp range including wine, if possible.
