You may not agree with all of Cowen's comments or his sense of humor (which I enjoy), but if you are adventurous, the info he provides will vastly expand your ethnic dining horizon in the DC metro area by leading you to places you'd never consider looking. (Note that he also writes very interesting pieces for the NYTimes--look for them in the business section.).
