Hot sauces with apple cider vinegar/fruits?

I sampled a bottle of the most magical hot sauce my freshman year at SUNY Purchase, courtesy of a visiting vendor and our half-assed farmers market initiative. I am cursing myself for never writing down the brand, but I did notice that part of its addictive sweetness -- the perfect contrast to its intense bite -- incorporated apple cider vinegar.

I doubt I will ever find another bottle of the stuff, but for someone who's looking for an extremely flavorful and spicy-sweet hot sauce, what might you recommend? I had a peach and vidalia onion hot sauce the other day and it was decent, but totally lacking in the sinus clearing department. I want something that doesn't compromise on heat, but has that tangy, almost fruity flavor.

Revelatory new Sichuan restaurant--Legend on 7th Avenue at 15th

Ordered from this joint this afternoon -- pan fried pork dumplings were quite good, Kung Pao chicken was unremarkable and leaning toward the bland side. I'll be trying other dishes in the future.

Killer lamb dishes?

Baby sheep is my weakness. I'm specifically looking for Indian restaurants that do lamb vindaloo and/or achari gosht particularly well, but any cuisine will do. I find it overcooked and dry so often that I am starting to lose faith.
