The food at Reunion is quite good, but you are correct, not much else in the near vicinity. Paris bistro (champions gate) has a great quiche, they are only open breakfast and lunch. La Luce is great for dinner over near Disney. Raglan road is good for dinner at downtown Disney. One thing I definitely would recommend, google "yehaa bob". Great kid friendly sing along show at River Side ( it's free). |

Best of Orlando - January 2013 Delmonico's is good, nice portion sizes and reasonable priced. Very short cab ride, walkable if you need a little exercise. |

Not an expert on Asian cuisine, but I have had the roast duck twice at the new noodle bar and prefer the noodles and duck at the yummy house. |

I eat at the palm in Orlando frequently and find it to be good food and very good service. I stopped by the palm in Tampa about 6 months ago to eat at the bar and was flat out ignored for 15 minutes...,, |

Orlando area top 10 - February 2012 I eat at peperoncino quite a bit (I'm there right now in fact), the food has always been very good, I will say the service could be more attentive. |

Orlando area top 10 - February 2012 I agree with all your reviews, it's been years since I've been to luma, and haven't tried Prato yet. Definitely have to put those two on my list. It amazes me that the rusty spoon menu doesn't change more often, And I've had some pretty bad service issues there as well. Couple of my favorites these days is la Luce and peperoncino that weren't on your list. Anybody been to Cress in deland? |

Orlando - Best Mexican Restaurant I like taquitos Jalisco, But would also recommend. Taco palenque. Just downthe road in winter garden. Reasonable prices, fresh authentic food, the condiment bar is loaded withe a variety of fresh toppings for your meal , and a super nice owner to top it off, glad to say they are thinking about expanding to a second location. |

Cajun Cafe on the Bayou, Pinellas Park I've been a couple of times in the last year, I though the food and service was mediocre , I had the jambalaya ( decent). Étouffée ( bland), bread pudding. ( very good size portion and tasty, but not served warm enough). |

Hint for anyone going to berns, When you make the reservation, ask to sit in Drews section. Get you reservation well in advance, they have been super busy as of late. |

Best Buffet- is there any such thing? And rec for special 40th- It's costly but worth the price IMO. They sever Perrier jouet champaign have excellent lamb chops. When I go, I get my money's worth from those two alone, then I try a few shrimp, a lobster, and some chocolate covered strawberrys. They also have some caviar (not very high quality, but adequate). |

Penn's Thai House in Henderson Looks amazing, definitely on my list for next trip. |

Sunday Brunch at Verandah Four Seasons LV Ballys has gone back to serving PJ. Price is now $90. $85 with a players card. I love the rack of lamb at ballys. |

I noticed there is a lot of talk about food at the Cosmo... Stayed nine days at Cosmo in January, Love Milo's, pizza is good, holsteins is pricey with sketchy service, Crooked spoon is decent buffet option ( I only went for breakfast). Room was spectacular, atmosphere was definitely good for peep watching. |

Is Lotus of Siam worth the trek for a Portlander? Ok, having decided that all the raves about Los were some type of big joke, I'll give the menu another chance. It's not that I've found Los to be bad, just that it is slightly above average. In fact I have started going to ocha when in Vegas as I've found the food inexpensive and pretty good. Lemon grass at the aria is good but relatively expensive. I will say that it's been a while since I've ordered off the Los menu. Going later this week, will report back. |

Oyster aficionados - Ameripure oysters? I grew up on apalach oysters as well, I love them, but I will say that Ameripure oysters are very good as well, yes less briny (my preference anyway) and a little less slimy. But very good none the less. |

Orlando: Fantastic Brazilian Bakery on I-Drive Stopped by yesterday, tried the burger (double meat one), Huge, thought it was good, liked the egg on it in particular. |

Correction, the entire valet fee is now being validated at la luce. Food/service/atmosphere are all still excellent. |

Great service Orlando restaurants The most recent was, I went to a restaurant yesterday for Sunday brunch, downtown orlando. Walked in at 11 am and was immediately sat by host with a menu to peruse. By 11.19 nobody had come by to take my order, I walked out. the restaurant had 2 other tables that had been sat. Sent the owner (a friend) an email, got a quick response with an apology and a i'll be there in a while to investigate. I was in ft lauderdale/Hollywood last week and basically the same thing happened at two different restaurants, I walked into Thai spice, there was a hostess behind the podium, I was the only one at the podium the whole time, after 5+ minutes, she looks up (she had been doing something on the computer, at me and asks.... "are you getting something to go", I said no I'd like to be seated. Then the waiter assigned didn't show up for 15 minutes, again it was late 9:30 and not very busy. The food was excellent btw. I am often a single diner and it's not infrequent that this happens. At council oak, a high end steakhouse at the hardrock casino in Tampa. I think it has become a bit of a Mexican standoff. I eat at the bar, the servers know I am not gonna tip, and I know that I am gonna be basically ignored. I spoke to the manager once about having such poor service at the counter and lounge, he totally blew me off. I do get good service when I get a table in the restaurant. The food is very good. Venting feels good. |

New entry for Orlando's best burger Tried the burger, one of the few items on their menu that I don't absolutely love. To messy, flavors didnt quite work, pickle was good though. Rusty spoon is serving some of the best food in Orlando these days. |

Locally owned, reasonably priced, good food. Located on sand lake in via dellagio shopping center. |

Great service Orlando restaurants Having received some appalling poor service recently, I started thinking about the restaurants that I have frequented that i have only had very good or excellent service each and every time. I have dined at each of these multiple times and can't recall one bad service experience. I estimate the number of times in parenthesis The Ravenous Pig (30) Kudos to the managers and employees of the above for your emphasis on the service side of the equation. ----- Victoria and Albert's |

Thai/Chinese (don't laugh). Dingy downscale place across the street from stratosphere. I haven't tried any Chinese food yet, but the Thai (Tom yum, Tom kha, curries) are quite good. Inexpensive, but very good food. |
