Best breakfast joints in Western Canada I love Big Fish on Edmonton Trail in Calgary, AB. Their brunch menu is simple but oh-so-satisfying. I especially like their take on eggs benedict with dungeness crab. ----- |

Glad to know know they are doing well! From what I hear, there had been a ton of restaurants prior to Thai Bistro that didn't make it. ----- |

Yangtze has some good offerings...their lunch time items include dimsum which isn't too bad, considering it IS buffet style. However, for a good Chinese meal outside the buffet world, I would reccomend Gee Gong in Chinatown. Cheap prices, friendly service, delicious food! Granted, Gee Gong is pretty run down...but hey, the food is good (especially their barbeque meat! For higher class, I would recommend Golden Central on Centre Street. The dishes are amazzzzzzzzzing but can take upwards of 30 minutes to come out. ----- |
