My wife and I will be finishing our driving tour of the coast line of the US in October. We fly into SEA, do a little sightseeing, tour part of the bay and spend the first night in SeaTAc itself. The next day we tour Mt Ranier and Mt St Helens and stay in Longview. Then we tour the Columbia Gorge, settling in Gresham for 2 nigyhts which we use as base to see Portland. After leaving Portland, we head to the water spending evenings in Astoria, Newport, Crescent City, CA. and Fort Bragg, CA before ending the last night near SFO and flying home. We would appreciate any recommendations for goor restaurants along the way, especially along the coast highway, 101 in Oregon and then #1 in Cal. Thanks

My wife and I are driving the Texas Gulf coast in early December. We are looking for recommendations for good local type restaurants along the way. We will be staying in South Padre Island, Corpus Christi, Gulfport and the Houston/Beaumont area. We especially like home cooking, BBQ, Seafood and TexMex. Thanks
