When I first moved to Toronto I knew very few people. I used to sit at the bar at the Firkin on Yonge just south of the Davisville station. Friendly staff a great group of regulars and a pub quizz on Sunday nights. Bartenter Donna is there during the week and will make you feel comfortable if you are alone.
