Game Meat Restaurant in Toronto

All 3 options sound delicious.

Stone Grill seems to be exactly what I'm looking for.

Thanks for all your help! I will report back at the end of the month!

EDIT: OOPS! This place has just informed me they are closed for business.
I am going to try Beast. I think Burlington may just be a bit too far for us.

Game Meat Restaurant in Toronto

Hello!

My dad's birthday is coming up and he was interested in trying something different for dinner. Any game meat is awesome (muskox, caribou, buffalo, wild boar, ostrich, partridge, kangaroo, emu, camel), and the more exotic the better.

We are driving, so anywhere around Toronto or outside it is fine.
I am looking to pay approximately $100/person or less (table of 5).

I am not considering black hoof because they do not take reservations.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Best Steak Restaurant in Toronto - Suggestions?

We went to Jacob's Friday and we had a lovely experience.
My husband had the bone in ribeye and I had the California Cut Striplion Wagyu Beef.

Both were delicious and moist and cooked to perfection.

The potato puree was delicious, but didn't compare to the amazing duck fat frites.

These were definitely the best steaks either one of us have had. The sauces on the side were a nice touch, but really the beef didn't need any sauce at all. Definitely one of our favourites and we will be going backl.

Thanks everyone! I've made reservations at Jacob's. I'll let everyone know how it went. I definitely intend to go to House of Chan and H60 and Morton's at some later date.

Thanks for all the amazing info!

So I guess there' really only a few to think about. We've never been to Jacob's, H60 or Morton's.

Thanks for all the details and quick responses. I'll probably wait for a few more opinions before I pick one tomorrow and make reservations for Friday. You guys are really REALLY amazing. Keep the comments coming!

Best Steak Restaurant in Toronto - Suggestions?

Hi all,

I couldn't find any recent posts on this topic.

My husband's birthday is coming up this weekend. He really enjoys steak.

1) The location can be anywhere in Toronto or up in York Region.
2) There is no price limit - I will pay over $100 for the steak if it is worth it.
3) I don't care about wine lists or any other food - just that they have good steak.

Please advise!

Thank you!

Lunch & Dinner in Boston in March Suggestions

Hi everyone,

I will be in town during the middle of March. I am open to suggestions
for lunch and dinner near The Boston Convention & Exhibition Center
and in the Financial district.

I will not have a car, but I am open to walking under 30 minutes.
Any cuisine is fine except for Chinese food.
For lunch I am looking for something casual for 2 people under $25 per person.
For dinner I am looking for a casual place under $35 per person and an
upscale place under $70 per person.

Thank you everyone!

December Birthday Dinner

I'd say upscale is $50-100 per person.

December Birthday Dinner

Hi everyone,

I've just joined CHOWHOUND because I'm looking for a few places to hold my 24th birthday dinner this December. Suggestions?

Guidelines:
- Downtown toronto for a group of 8 to 10 people coming by car and transit.
- Friday, Saturday, or Sunday night.
- I'm looking for one place that is affordable (some entrees <$25) to go with my friends that are still students.
- I'm looking for a second place that is upscale for my dinner with my boyfriend.
- I'm open to any cuisine. I really like Italian, Japanese, and Korean.

Thanks in advance everyone!
