Alize?

Wow. You should post more often. This was an exhaustive review and very helpful. Thanks.

Thanks for the link. We will probably try it and I'll write a report.

Alize?

Never see anything on Alize anymore. Any thoughts?

fine dining for around $250 pp?

My husband and I would love to go there. In fact, we booked it last time, but cancelled. I think it might be a bit too pricey for our group, as we like a cocktail before dinner and wine. We did eat at Jaleo that trip and loved it. Any thoughts on Alize?

We are going with friends again last year and the folks on Chowhound were really helpful in suggesting Sage. We also love Le Cirque last time. Our splurge meal is about $250 pp (maybe a bit higher) and we will try most anything. It is our friends 20th anniversary, so atmosphere is important. We would appreciate your suggestions again. Thanks.

Something like Sage?

We ate at Sage last year and loved it. I would love to try E but the price is going to be prohibitive. We are looking to spend about $350- $400 for a couple, with wine. E looks like $500 plus. Not interested in Japanese or steakhouses. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Thanks. Karen

No more expensive than Le Cirque

We did not do the pairings. We had a bottle which was paid for by a friend ( birthday gift). I think we spent about 250 for two but that only included one bar drink each. We can go up to 300 per couple including wine. Interested in anything except a steakhouse or strictly sushi. Thanks in advance.

No more expensive than Le Cirque

We went to Vegas last year and really loved Le Cirque, but it was at the upper end of what we can afford. Anything other memorable restaurants for around the same price (or slightly lower)? Type of cuisine does not matter. We are going in November for our 20 year anniversary. Thanks.
