Quince and Medlar [London]
I've been to Quince. I enjoyed the food, especially the grilled chicken with harissa and shoestring fries, but I thought it was a bit overpriced. Probably a 3 out of 5. I'd probably only go back if someone else was paying!
Looking for Best Pre-Theatre in London
I went to see Jersey Boys yesterday - it was awesome! We ate at Dishoom beforehand, it's a Bombay style cafe. Lot's of small plates, very tasty, quite cheap and they also dealt really well with my mum, who's a coeliac and can't eat anything with gluten in.
Molecular Gastronomy Tools In London
I'd try MSK or cream supplies (strange name, but they're pretty good!)

CAKE BOY (LONDON) Anyone Beeen?
I went a couple of months ago. The cakes were stunningly beautiful and delicious. A friend and I skipped lunch and pigged out on a selection.
The location is quite strange though, we almost got lost finding it and it's not terribly near any kind of public transport. Worth the schlep though.
Chocolate Making Supplies - London
I don't know if there is anywhere good in London - I usually buy online from www.keylink.org.
Foodies visiting London - with a baby
I've eaten at both Restaurant Gordon Ramsay and Marcus Wareing at the Berkeley when there have been babies sleeping under tables. If she's reasonably quiet, I'd go for it!

Gordon Ramsay
Royal Hospital Rd, Kensington, Greater London SW3 4, GB
Billingsgate Seafood Training School
Thanks for the post - I've been meaning to try this class for ages. Glad to hear it's good for experienced cooks too, as I often find classes can be a bit basic.
What to serve with a dutch baby?
Wow, I've never heard of a Dutch Baby before. I was quite intrigued when I saw this post. And relieved when I read it!
Kew Lunch??
Depends what you're looking for, but Taste of McClements is pretty awesome. It would be quite a long lunch though, as it's tasting menu only!
Dinner [London]
I have a table on a Tuesday night at the end of April. Booked it in January. Cannot wait!
variations of pesto?
I have made pesto with coriander (cilantro) subsituted for basil, and with other nuts substituted for pine nuts - hazelnuts are nice.
London: Seafood-free restaurants?
I'm with chief1284 - I think you'd have to go vegetarian to be sure of no shellfish / fish. How about Saf?

My boyfriend challenged me to a "lets use all this food we have in the house" battle
What an awesome boyfriend!
London - Best beer spots in central London
Oh, and I just found this too - the real ale trail.

London - Best beer spots in central London
Try one of the Draft House pubs - they have lots of interesting beers on tap. There's one near Tower Bridge.

Also, not central, but Greenwich has the Meantime Brewery restaurant & bar.

Food magazine shops in London?
I'm sure I've seen Australian Gourmet Traveller in Waterstones Picadilly.
favourite cake books?
I really like Sky High: Irresistible Triple Layer Cakes by Alisa Huntsman and Peter Wynne. The chocolate gingerbread cake with bittersweet chocolate frosting always goes down a storm and the other cakes I've tried have also been very successful (despite me converting to UK measures). They're not simple cakes, but great for special occasions.
I also really like Claire Clark's dessert book, Indulge. Not a cake book per se, but great for the more advanced baker with a sweet tooth!
arbutus or the square? [London]
I enjoy both, but they're very different restaurants. The Square is quite formal, the food and service is outstanding. Arbutus is a bit more relaxed, and I'd agree with PhilD that it's not really an anniversary type of place as it can be quite noisy.
Gordon Ramsey's Plane Food at Heathrow: "You could have killed someone!"
Oh dear, this doesn't bode well for me - I'm flying from T5 tonight and some friends have booked us a table at Plane Food. I wouldn't usually bother eating there I have heard that it's awful...
Don't let it put you off his proper restaurants though - Royal Hospital Road is superb as is Maze!
Suggestions for Royal Tunbridge Wells, SW Kent in General, Winchester, Cotswolds, Oxford and Stratford please
The Wykeham Arms in Winchester used to be fantastic, although it has been a few years since I've been. Any recent reports?
anyone going to the next dos hermanos event? (london)
Not me, didn't get a place. Maybe next time though!
Vietnamese cooking school
Does anyone know of a Vietnamese cooking school where I could study for one or two weeks? The only ones I've found so far have run 1-day courses, but I'm looking for something a bit more involved...
Your best banana recipes
Ew, banana and mayonnaise! I like the sound of baking them with sugar though, and those curries sound awesome.
Nice cafes in Brighton?
Thanks everyone, will definitely try Cocoa and the Marwood. Also heard good things about the Mock Turtle, choccywoccydoodah and Bill's.
Your best banana recipes
I'm looking for great recipes for using up leftover bananas - sweet/savoury anything really. There must be more than banana bread!
Nice cafes in Brighton?
I'm looking for nice little cafes to pop into for a snack/slice of cake/coffee. Does anyone have any recommendations? The quirkier the better!
Thanks in advance

Please recommend a Gordon Ramsay restaurant. [London]
Petrus is taking bookings from Monday and opens 29th March.
I did a masterclass with Clare Smyth at Royal Hospital Road and am going back there next week for dinner. She is awesome and the food & service were both fantastic.
I also like Maze, but the atmosphere is a lot less formal.
Goose sandwich @ the stuffed goose stall, Borough Market, London
Wow, looks like I will have to get down there this week. Goose sandwich!
