Can anyone recommend a great place for Christmas Eve dinner for my family. Right now on my list is Commerce and Lupa, although there will be 3 young children and I'm not sure if they will enjoy the complete Feast of the 7 Fishes Meal at lupa. Ideally, a restaurant south of 23rd street and someplace lively that is okay to bring children (ages 5, 7, 11). I live in Manhattan but we've never had Christmas Eve dinner in the city before so I'm not sure of restaurants that are festive and not empty (and hence depressing) at this time. Thanks so much!

Hi -- I have been tasked with planning my staff holiday lunch this year. Looking for recommendations for a fun restaurant that has space for 70 people, but we don't have the budget to buy out the restaurant. So ideally it's big enough to accommodate or has a semi-private area. Last year was Mexican (which was a huge hit) but looking to do something a little different. Tapas? Cuban? BBQ? Work in midtown but willing to travel in Manhattan. Thanks for your help!
