Please share your favorite dining experiences in Perugia. It will be our first time there. Lucca we have visited several times and know well, but anything out of the touristy area would be appreciated.
Westchester Venue for Small Wedding
The Pleasantville Country Club (Unique Affairs) is a very nice venue for a small wedding. They can definitely accomodate 40-50 and it has a large porch (for cocktails) that overlooks the course.
Planning a rehearsal dinner in WestChester
Moderne Barn is so loud, you wouldn't be able to hear each other. They have an upstairs but its not a private area. Flying Pig is closed. We had a rehearsal at Opus in Armonk. They do have a private upstairs.
Bridal Shower Mid-Westchester
I had my daughters bridal shower at the Pleasantville Country Club (Unique Affairs). The food is great and they have a lovely porch which overlooks the golf course.
Gougere Secrets
I have made them, baked and then frozen them and they were fine. Just defrost in frig and put in 300 oven to warm.

Your best lentil soup recipe?
Mine is so simple. Onions (leeks if I have them), carrots and celery (lots of leaves), . 2 cans of Hunts tomato sauce, 2 Knorr beef bouillion, water. After it has cooked for 30 minutes or so, I then boil tubettini pasta in a separate pot and add to the soup. I'll also throw in a rind of Parm if I have it.
Help with bread!
Amy from Amy's bread has a great cookbook out with all her recipes. I use to make them all the time and they would come out perfectly. Try looking on line for her. hope that helps and keep trying.
What Did You Cook Today? Part 1
Dinner last night was Morocaan chickpea stew with a salad of boston lettuce, sliced golden delicious apples, walnuts, gorgonzola with a dressing of olive oil, moscato vinegar, mustard, mayo and honey. Really good combo.
The CHEW
I think the whole premise is absurd. Some of Food Network has gone to the dogs but this is maybe for toddlers. Mario, to me, looks thoroughly bored by the other hosts (except Michael) as he should be. This after only watching 15 min yesterday (Wed).
Lake Como - based in Bellagio
A not to be missed restaurant is Bilicus in Bellagio. Also a very sweet place called LaPunta (the point) is very good and is right down on the water. Enjoy we love Bellagio.
tarry tavern dinner
Four of us had dinner last night at Tarry Tavern. 3 had the wild stiped bass on new menu. It was so fresh and prepared perfectly. One had a pork chop that was tender and delicious. Really great team here that keeps getting better. Desserts were over the top yummy.
Need a private party party room for a small wedding
The Pleasantville Country Club (Unique Affairs) has a really great room with a large porch outside of it (weather permitting). Had my daughters bridal shower there.

Finalising restaurants in Bologna
Really not Diana. It is so old world Bologna and 3 times I've been, majority of patrons are Italians. Mario B's favorite place in Bologna. Enjoy it will be all good.
Great food with interesting neighborhood in Rome - need help, please.
That certainly sounds like it. We stayed at Hotel Farnese in the Prati neighborhood. The day we arrived our room was not ready so we strolled towards St. Peters. We passed this restaurant and only Italians were eating there and it smelled fabulous. The address I have is Via Sardegna, 38. The link you sent looks good too.

It's official. Key Food coming to Fleetwood
We eat fish 3/4 x per week. Asians run the fish section in our Key Food. It is always pure smelling, firm and extremely fresh. If you're lucky, your store will have the same concession.

Recently made for hubby's bday Chef Alex G. "Simple Birthday Cake" receipe from food network. It is simple to make and simply delicious. Cake has chopped chocolate and frosting is egg whites whipped with sugar, very marshmellowy.

The Key Food in Pleasantville has the most amazing and freshest fish around these parts. The produce is also excellent.

I agree with you about the front of the house guy. I thought possibly it was because we were just two and probably those larger orders are easier to cook properly over the 10 ft. high fire. However you said you were also there as a couple. We did tell our server that we thought the foods were really charred and of course, he apolgized. Would definitely try it with a group, I think that is the way to go. Or as a couple, I'd stick to the pizza.
Arrosto
For a restaurant who's name means roast, they need to get a handle on their fire. Shrimp were undercooked but charred as was the deliciously sounding burger my husband ordered. So charred that's all you taste.
There are things I'd go back for, the pizza's looked really great. Lots of little dishes to share. We did share a pasta that was delicious. As is the case IMO it depends on what you order in most restaurants whether or not it is great.
