Winnipeg this weekend?

The wife and I are going north of the border (live in Minot, ND) this weekend and are looking for any suggestions for dinner on Saturday and maybe a bar with good cocktails if anyone knows of any. She doesn't do spice so most curry and hispanic food is out, but we like almost everything else.

Cheap eats in London?

We usually poked around in Chinatown for an afternoon because there always seems to be some kind of festival or event to go to there. Glad to hear there's some good food to be had as well.

Cheap eats in London?

So my wife and I postponed our trip until late summer. We will be in London for 9ish days at the Griffin House hotel north of Hyde park. We have found numerous restaurants, but are looking for some cheap and late-night options. Whether that be food trucks, Chinese takeout, street vendors, any suggestion is a good one.

9 days in London...

We haven't decided for sure on where we are staying, but I have a rewards card with Marriott so it will probably be there. Price doesn't really matter, we are looking for a variety of options. So far we found Pollen Street Social, Salt Yard, The River Cafe, & The Jugged Hare. Kitchen Table sounds like a good time, and Polpo seems interesting. We like almost any kind of food. And are willing to travel as long is it can be reached by public transit and is relatively safe for tourists.

Four great dinners in Vancouver?

I would agree with Bishop's, however if you are shopping during the day and walk in wearing shorts and a T-shirt and having a backpack full of stuff because you forgot to look up the preferred attire, you will get a few awkward glances...Kitsilano's kitchen was also one of our favorites, the menu changes all the time depending on what's in the market. Le Crocodile had awesome food, but I it would most likely fit under the stuffy, overly expensive category...

Breakfast spots?

I'm not sure how far you consider out of walking distance, but the best place my wife and I found for breakfast during our stay was Mama's. It's not overly expensive, but it is about a mile away so it may not be within your travel range.

9 days in London...

My wife and I are headed to the UK this November to visit with friends a couple hours north of London and are going to be spending a belated honeymoon in the city afterwards. Essentially we are looking for any must eats, good places to go for cocktails/nightlife, and just any advice anyone has to offer. Any suggestions would be a great help...

Suggestions or restaurants to avoid?

Yeah, like a short-order flat grill type thing...It's essentially what they have in the cafeteria where I work:)...

Suggestions or restaurants to avoid?

Sweet, I'll stick to my tie and vest...It might be weird, but I actually like wearing a tie:)..

Suggestions or restaurants to avoid?

This is my suit as seen on International Suit Up Day...

p.s. I am not attempting telepathy, my girlfriend snapped the shot while I had an itch....

Suggestions or restaurants to avoid?

Thank-you all for your suggestions...We have decided on (in order):

Delphina
Arts (I actually like cafeteria style breakfast)
Kappou Gomi or Aziza
Acquerello
Mamas
A16
Bix
A cooking lesson in Sausalito
Wherever my cousin wants to go for dinner

The only thing I am worried about is the attire for Acquerello. I'm not that well educated on the stylings of mens formal wear. I do have a suit, but it's not really dinner wear, more 3-button funeralesque. My GF will we wearing a bright, summery dress with a black overcoat. Any suggestions as to what I should wear?

Suggestions or restaurants to avoid?

Never had Moroccan food before (don't know of any restaurants in Madison, or the state for that matter.) I have had Turkish food before and I enjoy that though so maybe we will check it out.

Suggestions or restaurants to avoid?

I had meant that going to both Acquerello and Masa's was out of our price range:)...We just like Italian more than French...

Suggestions or restaurants to avoid?

Any good dinner spots near SFMOMA?...we were planning on just stopping for dinner at John's Grill on our way back to our hotel, but with the advice against it we will just have a quick lunch (we're still too young for cocktails)....Our hotel is across the street from Masa's, but I think it is out of our price range...

Suggestions or restaurants to avoid?

We just found Crepevine as place by Golden Gate Park that had served breakfast so if there is something better for breakfast in the area let me know...

Suggestions or restaurants to avoid?

Hello,

My girlfriend and I are coming to SF at the beginning of December and have found quite a few restaurants that we would like to go to, but are unsure about whether there are better ones that we could go to instead. So far we have chosen:

Delfina
Crepevine
Kappou Gomi
John's Grill
Mama's
Bix
Acquerello
A16

The only restaurant we are dead-set on is John's Grill (my english professor is a detective noir fanatic and offered me extra credit for going there). Any restaurants we should avoid going to would also be helpful:)...

Where to eat near Chelsea?

My girlfriend and I have tickets to see Rammstein at Madison Square Garden on the 11th of December...we are from Wisconsin and as such are going to be total tourists for the three-ish days we are there...We are staying at the Chelsea Star Hotel (its cheap.)..and are wondering about some good places to eat nearby...We are not 21 and she is a picky vegetarian (i.e no peas, peppers of any kind, onions if they are fried, and carrots only if they are soft) so some place where she will not be hated for a complicated order would be awesome:)...I will eat basically whatever except veal...it's delicious but i don't like eating baby cows...
