Grilling Dry-aged Ribeye

Interesting butter discussion :) Maybe I'll try one with and one without to do a comparison. Shall report back after dinner tonight.

Question about marianding/ freezing

This works really well - I do it all the time before a camping trip. Freeze the meat and marinade and it helps to act as an ice pack in the cooler and no prep required at the camp site!

Grilling Dry-aged Ribeye

So the grocery store recently introduced their own dry-aged beef, and I took the plunge today and picked up some dry-aged ribeye! I'm a little nervous about cooking them since they were a little pricey - don't want to screw it up.

I'm going for medium-rare and they're about 3/4-to-1-inch thick and I want to do it on the gas grill.

Wanted to serve it with a herbed butter or something like that, so wasn't sure if I should put any sort of dry rub on it first or instead just some oil and salt.

Any ideas? Experience?

Thanks!

Great food near the airport?

Thank you everyone for the input - I head to NOLA this evening from Syracuse and not a moment too soon - snow is flying right now!

Great food near the airport?

Hi all! Will be spending a long weekend in NOLA this coming weekend and Monday my husband and I will be switching to a hotel near the airport for our Tuesday flight.

We will not have a vehicle but are happy to take transit. Just looking for some delicious local food recommendations in that area - somewhere along the Veterans Memorial Hwy I believe? or in neighbouring areas?

Price range would be mid to low range - we'll have hit the big indulgences while in the FQ!
