Any restaurant reccomendations in Utrecht, Netherlands?

I'm spending a night in Utrecht in late September and wondered if anyone had any suggestions for a good early dinner. All suggestions welcomed.
Thanks.

Feeding the masses [moved from UK board]

We have a large number of friends coming for a Christmas drinks party in a few weeks. Any ideas of good bowl food to keep them going without my being stuck in the kitchen all night? Thanks. J

The Source

There has been a lot in the British press recently about The Source in Washington. Is it all the reviews say it's cracked up to be? I'm spending three days in Washington at the end of the month and would like to go to a good restaurant...
Thanks for any thoughts.

Baked Alaska

I want to make Baked Alaska for a retro dinner party but I don't want to have to make the meringue just before it's used (I'll be drunk by that point in the night!). Is there any way of making the meringue beforehand so I can just pour it over the ice cream and cook it when I want it?

Thank you and Merry Christmas.

London Dining Suggestions

My two fav restaurants in London that aren't on all the radars are Andrew Edmunds in Soho (they don't take bookings until the week before but do get very busy so plan ahead) and The Carpenter's Arms in Hammersmith, West London (a local restaurant that serves excellent food and wine. This isn't a stuffy place and is very relaxed). Both would fall into the modern British / European category.

Edinburgh Dining Suggestions

A really good restaurant is "The Outsider" on George 4th Bridge. Very relaxed, great food and very good service.
