The most exotic foods you can find in NYC

Me and the wife are planning on a scavenger hunt in NYC this afternoon. We want to try small dishes that are found very few places outside their home country, Things like grasshopper tacos and guinea pig...

What should we eat and where?

Best meal for $10 a person

Thinking about venturing in to the city tomorrow to look for some cheap eats.

Who's got one?

Could be food truck, deli anything...

Looking for decently priced ethnic food (Staten Island/Brooklyn/Queens)

Any type!

My wife is on a food kick and is endeavoring to try as many types of food as possible.

We'd like to keep the entire bill under $50 (we don't drink alcohol so that's not a factor).

Suggestions?

Drinks after Butter

My wife and I are going to Butter for our Anniversary dinner. We are staying in a hotel in Times Square.

I'm looking for somewhere to go for drinks after dinner. We will both be a bit dressed up and are in our mid-20's. Looking for somewhere that we won't stand out with great cocktails. Thanks.

Nice restraunt in midtown for anniversary

Lets say $150ish (gives some wiggle room) including everything.

We are not big wine drinkers. My wife may have a glass with dinner but I don't imagine we'll be getting a bottle.

I was think french but really we'd be open to anything.

Nice restraunt in midtown for anniversary

Hey guys,

I live in an outer borough and am not intimately familiar with Manhattan dining so I need some help.

I have a 1 year anniversary with my wife coming up and I'm getting a hotel room in midtown. The plan is go somewhere for cocktails and then get dinner. I'm looking at trying to keep it at or under $150 for the two of us for dinner.

Suggestions?
