At Sergio's (?unnamed) restaurant in Petritoli, Marche- cheeses, salumi, polenta with boar, roasted leg of pork with lemons and potatoes. Also, anything made by my Sicilian grandmother or Jewish mom.
My current drink of choice:
Caipirinha when available, white or red sangria for summertime.
I really wish I could:
Travel through Asia and learn the basics of cooking various Asian cuisines (especially Thai, Vietnamese and Sichan).
My "Go-to" dinner party dish:
Depends on what's fresh at the farmer's market during the summer. My grandmother's tomato sauce and pasta and "marbles and grass" (read: escarole and dumpings) soup in the winter.
