Looking for best Korean bbq in NY or CT I had my first and only experience with Korean bbq at a small hole-in-the-wall in California. I have never forgotten it. The food, the flavors - AMAZING!!!! This was the kind of restaurant with the charcoal pit built into the table. That's what I'm looking for. Any recommendations? |

What was the worst food you HAD to eat as a kid? Fish sticks. All stick; no fish. Also, the frozen pizza with the tiny pepperoni cubes and the rock hard crust. Very sad when I saw that coming to the table. |

What was the worst food you HAD to eat as a kid? Canned asparagus? My mom made me eat it once, but never again. I gag at the memory. |

If you could choose a chef to cook a holiday meal... Bobby Flay for flavor and spice |

Family foods I thought was normal I made tuna salad w/egg (the way my father still makes it) and my co-workers were aghast. Even my boss was turned off by it. Outside of my father's tuna salad, I've never had it with hard-boiled eggs. |

Family foods I thought was normal Eating crackers with spaghetti and meat sauce. Also, sprinking salt on watermelon before eating it. Oh, and putting chopped, hard-boiled eggs in tuna salad. |

Food Scars - Things you will never eat again. Canned asparagus. Just the memory turns my stomach. My mother gave it to me as a child and I would not eat any form of asparagus until I was in my 30s. I finally gave in to my sister who pressured me to try fresh, steamed asparagus with a little butter and lemon. I tasted it and immediately called my mother and asked her what she was thinking when she tried to feed us that mushy, nasty mess in a can. |

Please, please, PLEASE tell me there's a good pho place in or around New Haven. My sister turned me on to it and I just love the combination of flavors. Willing go to 20 miles in any direction. |
