Food in Passau?
hi meg,
we recently moved to passau, additionally I spent some years here being at university, therefore I know some nice places. so you are invited to contact us and we (me and my wife) will be happy to show you arround.
if you prefer just to get recommendations, here you go:
1. there is a really nice fish restaurant in the middle of the city, which is called 'Bouillabaisse' - this is my favourite place since several years.
2. if the weather is nice you should drive a few miles to austria (about 10 minutes) to a beergarden called 'Weinbeißer' - this place is very special because of the excellent few you get there! (traditional kitchen).
3. another traditional place in the middle of passau is 'Heilig-Geist-Stift-Schenke' - they serve traditional, bavarian food and the ambiance is quite traditional and nice as well.
