Veuve Cliquot but I'll drink any decent champagne with pleasure!
I really wish I could:
Have a lot of really interesting recipes there in my memory-bank without having to look them up!
My "Go-to" dinner party dish:
Currently, anything make-ahead but still delicious and pretty. Lately, I've gotten fixated on clay-cookery for entertaining-- love setting the dish up ahead and then a long slow simmering in interesting pots!
My favorite comfort food:
Chili with lots of green onions; scalloped potatoes au gratin; baked potatoes with broccoli-cheese sauce; sweet-potato fries (is there a theme here?)
My top 5 favorite restaurants:
Local? The Marsh Side in Dennis; Sesuit Cafe in Dennis; Cooke's Seafood in Hyannis; Scargo Cafe in Dennis; The Royal II Grill in Yarmouthport
My most tattered cookbooks:
Julia, always Julia; the America's Test Kitchen Family Cookbook, Fish Without a Doubt, and whatever the Cook Book of the Month is on Chowhound!; Mediterranean Harvest; Clay Pot Cooking
