Currently, anything make-ahead but still delicious and pretty. Lately, I've gotten fixated on clay-cookery for entertaining-- love setting the dish up ahead and then a long slow simmering in interesting pots!

Chili; scalloped potatoes au gratin; baked potatoes with broccoli-cheese sauce; sweet-potato fries (is there a theme here?)
