I discovered Birchrunville a couple of days ago and was very excited. Then I discovered it was closed on Tuesdays and that is the day we will be there. Just looked at the Maize website and they are open on Tuesdays. |

We will be driving from DC area to Montreal in May. We are interested in really great food either in Philadelphia or surrounding areas. Any interesting restaurants that are out of town, maybe in small town with B&B. |

Dinner for foodie with grandchildren Looking for an interesting place for me and husband who really appreciated good food and wine, with daughter and son in law who eat much plainer than we do. We are doing our best to introduce wider range of tastes and experiences to 9 and 6 year old grandchildren. We have managed to get then excited about sushi, Korean BBQ to name two. |

One night in Milan near Centrale We are arriving fairly late from Los Angeles and leaving next morning by train for Lake Maggiore. Looking for great food close to the train station- a decent walk or short taxi for dinner and a place to get a great sandwich for the train ride the next day. |

Several years ago after visiting either Mt. Vernon or Williamsburg, we seemed to be in the middle of no-where in the country-side and came across a wonderful restaurant which I think was named something like Indian Creek. The food was great and they had a Wine Spectator Award. Now as we are getting ready for another visit, I can't seem to find this place, Any info much appreciated. |

Foodies visiting Falls Church, VA Perhps I should have mentioned that my son and d-in-law are just back in the US from a 2 year foreign service assignment in India - so burgers are a BIG deal to them. We wouldn't be doing the burger tasting but for that. Before they went to India we used to like the food at Huong Que - Four Sisters Restauent in the Eden Center. I understand they have moved. Still good? Or are there better Viet Namese places? ----- Four Sisters Restaurant |

We will be driving from Portland to Eugene and back in October. As major foodies and winos we want to have a great lunch each day and visit the best wineries. I have noticed many of the best places are not open for lunch. Are we better off getting terrific sandwiches in Portland and having a picnic one of the days? What are your suggestions? Also one dinner in Eugene, was considering Ambrosia and Beppe & Gianni's but welcome other less known places. |
