Paramour for Brunch?

Would appreciate any/all opinions on Paramour - specifically for brunch...

Menu looks interesting but not sure I understand how it works there... Is the appetizer bar a separate charge? Assume there would be a sep. charge for the Bloody Mary's...

Mixed reviews elsewhere, so I thought it best to consult those here as your dedication to helping your fellow diners is abundant and evident.

Thanks! for your help,
Diana

Moving to Eagleville/KoP need direction to great chow

We live in Lebanon County - so we have to DRIVE for EVERYthing. It's funny, we used to live in South Jersey and I failed to appreciate how good the food could be there until we moved here... But if one loves Penna. Dutch food - it's a "Wonderland..." We have maybe 3 truly great restaurants within 30 miles, and nothing for Specialty Food Stores unless you drive to Carlisle or Reading. Thank goodness the Turnpike is so close!

OK, that makes sense... Thanks much for the info! Just wish PA would get their act together and make it easier and cheaper to get great wines in state.

Maybe try Carlino's in Ardmore for cheese, if you were not impressed by Wegmans... Where we live Wegmans (which is still a long drive for us) is the best of what is out there... but recently went to Carlino's (even longer drive) and what a great place that is!

Really - do the State Troopers truly waste time doing that?

We get mailings from Total Wine and were thinking of going for wine we can't find here - but really don't need to be "hassled by the man." Have to admit when I saw the prices in their mailer, I was shocked by the difference... Some wines/spirits are a difference of $7 or more! NOW I understand why there is so much support to sell the State Stores.

But yes... that is a discussion for a different board.

Yes, I just try to avoid going there because hubby is a crazy driver in city traffic.

Restaurant Suggestions Appreciated... Holiday Getaway

Hi All,

Have been coming the boards for ideas... but - my mind is numb and I have 5 meals to plan for.

Will be in KoP area and so far, have come up with Spice Kitchen for Christmas Day Lunch; and Susanna Foos for Christmas Dinner...

Still open to changing those, but that is what we have so far. Hubby wants STEAK for dinner next day so after going back and forth between all of the usual contenders - I basically have no idea which one. Am trying to do this without breaking the bank - so that is a consideration. (Mortons = not gonna happen). Read about Blackfish, but hubby is not crazy about overly "fussy" food treatments (even though he was a chef for 30 yrs.)

Prefer to avoid Center City.

Please send any/all suggestions for Steak Dinner (x1) and Casual Lunch (x2). Also open to alternatives to Susana Foos if there are better places... (Have already paid homage to most of the chains... would maybe like to do something different...)

You are all so generous with your recommendations and advice so I thank you in advance!
