Restaurant Gift Cards sent via email??? Help!

I need to get a last minute gift card for a restaurant in either NY or NJ for a friend. I'd like to purchase an e-gift card if possible, to be delivered to her email address. (As xmas is approaching, I don't have time to have the gift card sent to me, and then re-mailed to her in NY. )

Can you recommend a restaurant that offers this? Thanks!

Bagatelle or Crispo for brunch???

I will be visiting NYC. A friend said that I should experience Bagatelle brunch so I made an rsvp for 3:30 Sunday. The problem is, I originally wanted to brunch at Crispo that day as well. (Can't do both.)

Has anyone been to Bagatelle at 3:30? Would the party have died down by then? If so, I'd rather do Crispo. If not, then I'll keep my rsvps.

Thanks in advance!

Still searching for a good OC restaurant

I was spoiled living in LA with so many dining options. I haven't found a restaurant in the OC that have "wowed" me like the ones in LA. Can you help me out?

I've had: Pascals, pinot provence, black sheep, the hobbit, all the steakhouses, and of course the chains like Roys.

(If this helps, I liked the following LA restaurants: Lucques, AOC, Spago, Church & State.)

Thanks so much!

Banh Mi - first time

I second Zon Baguette. It's way tastier than BMCC. Ask for extra meat and mayo sauce.

NYC for the first time!

I'll only be in NY for the weekend. We land at 5am so I'd like to have a nice early breakfast somewhere. (Does Russ & Daughters open early? I'd love to have NY's best lox)

For lunch, maybe Katz's for pastrami and/or halal's for cart food. Should I spend the money and get Pearl Oyster's lobster roll for lunch one of the 2 days?

For dinner with my husband, I was thinking Degustation or Babbo. We're celebrating our 5 year anniversary so maybe we'll do a tasting menu. Any other dinner recs?

Sunday brunch, I'd like to try crispo for the bone marrow dish. Do you prefer Blue Ribbon better?

And what is the deal with Momofoku? Is it fusion asian food? Because we've got a lot of that here in LA. Is it THAT worth it to brave the lines?

Any other recs? Thanks so much!
