can't pick one. any given meal at battuto, esp. if it included the beet salad or concluded with giovanna's panna cotta or chocolate cake with cinnamon. love luxe's cheese plate. lots of great childhood meals such as my mom's homemade mac and cheese. lots of happy meals at my table, thanks to the friends eating the food. can i be proud of my own chile rellenos?
My current drink of choice:
st. germaine + champagne. or a great vodka martini. or kious-mcgovern beer.
I really wish I could:
make stuffed, fried zucchini flowers. with someoone who gets why that is important.
My "Go-to" dinner party dish:
great olives and cheeses and those yummy little anise-flavored spanish tortas/crackers. shaved fennel, roasted beet, french feta, blood orange, kalamata olive and spinach salad. pasta with caramelized cauliflower, toasted breadcrumbs, olive oil, chiles and parmesean.
My favorite comfort food:
local cheeses, spirits, popcorn, baked things, roasted brussel sprouts.
