Meat prices

When a store is there and nobody goes, there is a reason. there are any number of reliable hechshers and if they could, they would get one.
btw. what does chabad trained mean? I want to know what he does NOW.

Jerusalem vs. NY

I will ai"h be in jerusalem this summer. I would like to try what I can’t get in NY. My nephews tell me to just find some good falafel and schwarma hole in the wall and enjoy. Is that all there is? Recommendations please.

Restaurant Updates?

Does sacred chow have any certification? I can not tell from their website.
Palace grill is a very good local place. I have not gotten there yet but the family has and the food is consistently very good

brooklyn family-style take-out recs?

For pure takeout you cannot go wrong with Gourmet on J on Avenue J. For something a bit different eat at Big Fleishig on 16th and 55th in BP. Great great food. You can eat in or take out, and for a brooklynjew 10 minutes to Kings Hwy. should be no problem.

Kosher Spa

MARCH has a retreat once or twice a year. They did one after pesach. I heard it was nice. they bring their own mashgiach. ( Glatt is not a problem, I think the poor guy spends all week checking the salad.) If you need an Email address, ask in a post and I will try to get it.

I am so bored

I have to do a lunch business meeting in NYC. Just two guys. I usually go to Prime but do not want to become a toshav kevah there. Solo is a bit to much. Uws places a bit far and the reviews here are not great. I am thinking Le carne but I am not a sushi guy. Abigail’s needs freshening and the guy I am meeting (not Jewish btw) had a bad Le Marias experience. Can we get a bit of fresh air here?
