looking for "pizza" bread in the Red bank area to serve tonight

Does anyone know where I can find "pizza" bread to serve with dinner tonight? It is the bread they serve italian style hot dogs on at Dickie Dee's. Calandra's bakery makes it but I haven't seen it in the grocery store in a while. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

DONUTS.......

I like the donuts/crullers at Dixie Lee Bakery in Keansburg NJ. They have plain or powdered. PS. They freeze beautifully.

CIBO, Red Bank

I went there last Friday night and while the pie and the crust were very good the salad was mediocre and the staff were a little clueless.

I look forward to going back but I think I will take the pies to go.

Nemo - Keyport Sushi-Pan-Asian Cuisine

Thank you for your post. I tried Nemo last night based on all of the recommendations and found it lived up to the praise.

My 10 year old was very happy with the hand rolls while the rest of the party ordered the steamed pork dumplings, crispy duck roll & pad thai. The highlight of the evening was the lobster dragon bowl. Spot on.

I like kelly's too even though it is not open-faced but I was bothered that last time I went because they charged me like a $1.25 extra because I requested additional russian dressing. What's up with that?

Pastry/baking classes in NJ?

FYI-Taste & Technique instructor Diana Albanese (she is very good) also teaches for Brookdale, while you have to travel to Freehold very often the classes are more reasonably priced.

Pastry/baking classes in NJ?

I would recommend the cooking classes taught through Brookdale Com. Colleges Community Development office. I have taken a basic's class and the cake decorating but they offer all sorts of classes.

The facilities are ok but the instructors were very good. I also thought they were a good value compared to classes offered at Mumford's Culinary Center in Tinton Falls.

Good paella in newark?

I like Fornos of Spain, 47 Ferry Street in the ironbound.

The paella is very good. I also recommend the stuffed salmon. The service is excellent and I appreciate the decor, :). My favorite thing about eating there is the "antipasto" that they serve to each table. A light salad of olives and hearts of palm over greens. They dress it with olive oil and salt. I think it is perfection.

Meat in Ocean/Monmouth County

I recommend Sabato's in the Belford junction. There web site is below and they have a rich history. Two of the butchers are avid hunters and they know a lot about game.

Kearney Style Fish & Chips in Red Bank

My parents are originally from Newark NJ and growing up I had a lot of family in the Bloomfield, Kearney and Harrison area.

Their is a huge Scottish & Irish population up their and periodically we would get fish & chips from either the Thistle or the Argyle. It seems that the Argyle is still in Kearney but the Thistle closed shop a while ago and re-opened in Lyndhust but they also have a traveling kitchen for catering.

On Friday, September 17, 2010 they will be hosting a fundraiser at the Red Bank Elks Lodge #233 40 West Front Street in Red Bank from 5-7pm.

Tickets are $18 advance/$20 door for adults. Children 12 and under are $8.50 advanced/$10 door. Carry out or eat in.

It is for a good cause too; to construct a new school building for a local Montessori school. To purchase advance tickets call the school at (732) 842-5816.

For me, comfort food is king and I can't think of a better way to say goodbye to another summer than with fried food so I wanted to share this with you guys.
