Food truck phenomenon coming to Sacramento - and to my neighborhood

The article says Chandos is expected to start in the action soon.

I've never eaten at the truck, didnt know they had one, but their Tacos at the street stand are damn good. Best I've had outside of Mexico.

I might have to go down there sometime and check out the other trucks.

Are there frozen veg that you do not like?

I was talking to a VERY Greek friend the other day, who swears by frozen spinach (thawed then strained) for Spanikopita.
I figured they wouldn't do anything but fresh, but was surprised to hear that.

We went through a couple month phase of buying frozen edamame from Trader Joes. It was pretty good (although I don't think I've tried any other frozen edamame).

An impassioned plea to FOX

I agree, the BBC versions are much better.
I really like F Word on BBC. Great show.

I do like the format of Master Chef though. If I remember right there's 3 or 4 challenges per episode.

How do you use white truffle oil?

And if course by Dave Ramsey, I mean Gordon Ramsey.

How do you use white truffle oil?

I would encourage you to research truffle oil, which is completely artificial. There is an article in the NY Times that talks about it. Here is the article: http://www.nytimes.com/2007/05/16/din...

Dave Ramsey said that if you ever see truffle oil on a menu at a restaurant, to turn and run the other way.

What do you mix with couscous?

+1 for Feta.
I've only done it with Israeli Couscous (which I know isn't the same), but could definitely imagine it with "normal" couscous.
What you described sounds just about perfect. I'm not a fan of "plain" tomatoes, but maybe sun-dried would work here?

Is having 2 slow cookers necessary?

My wife thanks you both for helping her win the argument ;)

Is having 2 slow cookers necessary?

We currently own a 6.5 QT oval slow cooker. Is it necessary/beneficial to also have a smaller one on hand for smaller recipes?

I usually only use it for big batches of chili right now anyways, but my wife thinks having a smaller one would be handy.

Just seeing what others out there own and think.
