I was thinking about Water Grill but always thought it was out of my range -- what's the atmosphere like?

Hi All -- I'm planning a very special Friday lunch with my husband, and am trying to figure out what best fits the bill:

-Great food with some buzz
-Location between Mid-town and Downtown
-Open for lunch
-Nice Atmosphere (doesn't have to be "romantic" but maybe not too grungy)
-$75 or under per person including one drink each

I'm considering:
Baco Mercat
Spice Table
Bottega Louie
Towne
Son of a Gun

In previous year's we've gone to Drago Centro, Lazy Ox and Rivera and had a great time, but would like to try something new.

Curious about which everyone would prefer for lunch instead?

It's been nearly two years since my husband and I have had a grown-ups only meal together. We'd love to go someplace new(ish) and noteworthy (romantic a plus) to celebrate our anniversary -- it will be a weekday lunch. Eastside (MidCity to Glendale and SFV) would be best, and we'd like to come in at around $60 per person including drinks. Back when we used to go out AOC and La Botte were two of our favorites. Any suggestions? I was thinking about Hatfields and Cafe Was -- but I don't really know what to expect.
