Sushi in Reston?
As was already mentioned, Passionfish has the best in Reston. Chris does a great job there.
Visiting from NYC
Komi would be #1 by far. Chef Monis is spectacular.
Palena would be #2. Get there when it opens at 5pm and sit in the cafe.
Central would be #3. Get the casoulet if it's available.

Does anyone have a list of the restaurants that will be participating beyond 1/20? Typically, roughly a dozen or extend beyond one week. I Farrah Olivia has extended.

Wine and Cheese Bar in NoVA?
How about Evo Bistro in McLean. Enoteca wine system, Tapas menu...not sure about cheese though. Love the ambience, food, and owners. Great little place.
Best picnic wineries near Sonoma
I will be staying in Napa all next week and will be visiting many of the wineries in the area. I have restaurants and wineries (reserved tastings) nailed down for that area. I have Sunday open and want to hit a couple of wineries in Sonoma. Ideally, I want to picnic at a couple around lunchtime. After reviewing previous posts I see the Sonoma Market is recommended for picnic supplies.
How does the picnic thing work? Do you still pay for tastings? Can you byow? Do you just purchase at the winery and drink on site?
I'm just used to the rules/regulations at my local wineries in Virginia and never been out to CA.

Restaurant Eve Dress Code
Eve (Bistro) is the best value dollar-for-dollar in DC in my opinion. Cathal does it up right. See if they have that cucumber drink. Nothing else like it.
Where do I find authentic Mole online
Not the $3 yellow jar version. I mean real authentic with 20+ ingredients. I see some listed online all under $7. I would think it should run roughly $20.
turkey cutlets - any ideas?
Dust them with Chipotle Chile Powder, salt/pepper and saute them in olive oil. 3-4 mins per side.

2nd choice would be Restaurant Eve - Tasting Room or Bistro
1st choice would be 2941 and get a window seat.
Wine in Reston???
El Manantial is very good. The wine selection has a lot of Riojas which are so underated.
The best wine list in Reston would be at M&S Grill and of course Mortons. Paulos and Clydes are roughly the same. Market Street is nice in that it has jazz and has no smoking.
