Rice Planters was in MB proper but the Back Porch was in Murrells Inlet. They have been gone at least 25 years. Even as a child most our meals were in MI. There was one other place in MB called Aunt Maude's that we loved but alas it too is long gone. But I dont consider a handful out of 1500 to be good odds.

Chive Blossom Pawley's Is.
Its one of my favorites in Pawleys too. I usually go more for lunch though....I adore the Jumbo Lump Crab and Sweet Vidalia Onion spread served with lavash bread. Love the shrimp and corn salad or the fried green tomato sandwich as well!

I live in a Southern Tourist Town and I go out with the same group of girlfriends once a week for lunch...high end , low end and everywhere between...and only once have our checks been presented together.We dont ask or anything it just happens.

I would have spoken to management ...if that didnt work I would have gotten up and went over and spoke to them....but yelling out at them ...not speaking to them...is very passive aggressive.Really it put yall on about the same level...you both made a scene.

Kudzu is an new location of one we have in Litchfield/ Pawleys Island and also in Georgetown
Their bread is awesome plus they have out of this world shrimp salad. We also buy great desserts from them.

I guess it is just what your tolerance in walking is...when we are in Charleston we just walk and walk...but you could do a cab...or my choice a pedicab!
