I just read an article called "Americas best fried chicken" and number 2 was a place called Roscoe's house of chicken in my hometown Hollywood Calif. and number 1 is a place called "Crisp" at 2940 N Broadway st in Chicago.A Korean fried chicken with as they call it "A lot of Seoul". I love fried chicken and will go out of my way it it's good, has anybody tried this place and if so is it that good?

I would like to get off at Western and walk until the culture changes and maybe walk a little more especially if I can just get back on the bus and not have to walk back. Good idea nsxtasy. So am I right that the neighborhood changes to Russian? Than what adventures do I have in store for me after that?

I noticed on menupages that most of the Indian restaurants are on W Devon Ave and surrounding area.Is this my best choice of area to be looking for Indian food? Staying in E Chestnut ave but willing to travel for something good. I would rather stay away from the more common Bangladesh places and get into something a little more street foodish.

Thanks for all the great posts, I will be making a few stops and as always I take pics of all the food I eat and the people that are nice enough to serve it. Food trucks are great when you can find them and I know many in NYC,, California, Austin, Denver and just expected that Chicago would have plenty, Who knew. Going in 2 weeks for my first visit to Chicago and I love tacos and although I will be enjoying many of Chi towns favorites, I need a taco fix. I love small mom and pop taquerias and self contained taco trucks.I will be staying around the Miracle mile area but if you have a spot you think is worth a visit, please let me know.Although I don't plan o rent a car because I don't think I need one for a 5 day trip do I?. Thanks for any help you can give me.
