Hi,

I've got an insatiable sweet tooth and have just moved to Sunset Park. I'm eager to become familiar with the area's bakeries, the desserts at various restaurants, and any sweet street treats you know about. Can you make recommendations? I'm on 46th and 5th, so I've already tried La Gran Via Bakery around the corner, and I've seen (but not yet visited) the big panaderia on 4th at about 47th Street, as well as a few of the bubble tea places (T'baar, etc) up on 8th Avenue. I've also been out to Bay Ridge and come across a few Lebanese and Middle Eastern bakeries. I've got a bike and am willing to go anywhere... shoot me some recommendations--both of places and of individual items to try!
