The best ceviche in Queens (or in NYC)?

I have been to Urubamba and El Anzuelo Fino and definitely prefer Urubamba. Urubamba's ceviche mixto is classy

Gui Lin Mi Fen - Flushing

I feel foolish for doubting this venerable establishment. I stopped by this evening and can attest that these guys are the real deal. The broth they offer here is a breath of fresh air. The interior is clean and streamline. Kudos to the young proprietor

Very encouraging. In Brooklyn the broth is kind of a throw away, I usually keep my noodles pretty dry, plenty of delicious juices are already in the bowl . Now that Guizhou and Guilin noodle soups are available mere steps from each other intrepid gringos are going to be very confused

Cool that Guilin food is now in Flushing. As far as I know the only Guilin food previously in the city was on 8th Avenue in Brooklyn. I am skeptical that the quality can match the Brooklyn shop (and at significantly higher cost) but I will probably give it a try

Max is no charlatan, he's the real deal. Of course its an excellent list. Taste of Guilin is my personal favorite, since they opened about 3 years ago I always stop if I'm in the neighborhood. Personally the Fung Tu Red Farm type stuff doesn't interest me but the list is comprehensive

Sounds like you are buying some serious cheap-o chicken. Did it ever occur to you how horribly the chickens were treated and that maybe you should spend a few extra $ per pound?
