Top Chef - Texas - Last Chance Kitchen (spoilers)

I worked at WF during Top Chef and was in the store during the filming. They did NOT clear the store out. In fact, they shopped at a peak time on the weekend because it was when they could fit the shopping into their production schedule. I imagine that it has everything to do with the way things are edited. I never signed a non-disclosure agreement since I was shopping at the time and not working but I know that it was packed in the store at the time. I even got to see Heather and Beverly push each other around at the seafood counter in Dallas.

Vegetarian friendly restaurants in North Dallas?

I'm always looking for a new place to eat in North Dallas and am looking for some good independent joints that have some good vegetarian options. Anyone have any suggestions?

Bakeries or Pastry Shops near Lake Highlands?

As someone who has previously worked for Whole Foods (and the bakery department), I feel it is my duty to let you know that the bread is not fresh, it is frozen and simply reheated prior to putting it on the floor for sale. None of their breads are made on site, in house. Same goes for 95% of their pastries and desserts... and their cakes come from mixes.

ONE Night in Boston- Where to go??

I would recommend going to Henrietta's Table in Harvard Square. It has a nice casual atmosphere but the chef prepares local and season food perfectly. Also, it's in Harvard Square so you can look around there and maybe grab a drink at Russell House, a new hotspot in the square afterward.

Bakeries or Pastry Shops near Lake Highlands?

I just moved to the Lake Highlands area and am looking for any good bakeries or pastry shops. When I say bakery, I don't mean those silly cupcake stores, I mean a good hardcore bakery with rustic bread (the kind with amazing crust), delicious and intricate pastries, and Viennoiseries (croissants, danishes, etc). I'm willing to drive for amazing desserts and breads!!

I've been told to go to La Madeleine but that's just sick. I need something real with a local baker. Gotta support those locals!

Japanese grocery stores near Lake Highlands?

I am new to the Dallas area and live in the Lake Highlands area. I was wondering if anyone knew of any good or even decent Japanese grocery stores around. I'm in serious need of some supplies but can't seem to find anything that carries Japanese goods. I appreciate any help!
