Restaurant rec for downtown LA for before theater Hi. We're going to the Taper. Walking distance would be fine but not essential. Also, there's a Laker game tonight...Thanks. |

Restaurant rec for downtown LA for before theater Hi. We never go downtown. Any recs for a good, but not over-the-top restaurant in downtown LA? Coul d include a fun, gastro-pub. Not Roys or Patina... Thanks! |

recs for dinner in St. Remy, Aix en Provence and Paris please Just thought I'd report back on some good meals that we had: in Aix we ate at Le Petit Verdot. My scallops were delicious and the chocolate dessert was fantastic! In San Remy we ate both meals at our hotel, Le Mas de Carassins because the food was so wonderful (as was the setting outside on the patio). |

Describe your ideal coffee house... I don't like Starbucks--their coffee is too bitter, but they also offer their hot drinks in mugs upon request if you're drinking in the store. |
