Pre-theater - DB Bistro Moderne, Bar Boulud or Seasonal?

My partner and I will be in NY in 2 weeks and are looking for a fun, interesting place for pre-theater dinner on a Saturday night. Looking at above 3 options, but open to other suggestions as well. Looking for a fun place that is serving great food right now. Thanks in advance for recommendations.

1 night in Venice

Thanks all for the great recommendations. We made a reservation at Bancogiro. Wish we had time to enjoy all of them!

1 night in Venice

Thanks for the recommendations. I left out one important criterion - 1 member of our party is allergic to seafood (the rest of us love it), so we need a place that has non-seafood menu options. Do the recommended places do so? Also, do any of these options offer outdoor seating/great views?
thanks again.

1 night in Venice

My family of 5 adults will be in Venice for one night (July 28) before a cruise. We are looking for a restaurant where we can enjoy great food and and soak in the atmosphere of Venice - a great place to end the night after a gondola ride. Not looking for life-changing food, but a great evening in Venice. We don't have too much time, so not too far off the beaten path.

Thanks in advance for recommendations (and thanks to all who made excellent recommendations for Rome).

3 nights in Rome - restaurant recommendation

Hello - thrilled to have discovered Chowhound! We will be in Rome for 3 nights in late July and want to enjoy great food. We are staying at Hotel Ponte Sisto, so nearby places preferred, but we can travel. Here is what we are looking for:

Night 1 - we'll be jet-lagged so looking for light, quick meal. Looking at Roscioli.

Night 2 - modern Italian. Looking at Ditirambo, Antico Arco, Glass Hostaria.

Night 3 - more traditional Italian. Looking at Armando al Pantheon, Cud de Sac.

Would love comments on these and other options. Don't want anything too formal.

Thanks in advance for everyone's help!
