So I bought these little plates with mini forks that I thought I could use for a Christmas eve appetizer party. I wanted to make a jumbo shrimp salad in a clear vase but realized I need good recipe recipe. I was thinking some kiind of shrimp and avocado mix but I am open to suggestions. Pleae an me your best creative ideas. Thanks |

The white is probably residual salt from the salted water. I notice it on mine as I add a lot of coarse salt to the water. I agree it it way easier to remove the meat when defrosted especially if you want to get whole pieces of claw, tail etc. |

Lobster cooking---YOUR rules of thumb Having many lobster fishermen in the extended family - this is how we've always cooked market (~1.5 lbs)Salt the water water with coarse salt until it tastes like the ocean. Bring to a rolling boil. Plunge them headfirst into the water. Boil for 10 minutes. Turn burner off & let sit for 10 minutes & then remove from pot. Delicious! |
