I forgot all about Cantina Cantarini, love that place, I never get there any more. We had our first lunch there 20 years ago. First half of the week it was an all meat menu second half all fish. I remember a salad / appetizer that was just these small dark green striped tomatoes dressed with just olive oil and course sea salt. To this day all tomatoes I eat are compared to them!

Help us narrow down our Florence list!

Try Cinghiale Bianco just over the Ponte Vecchio, always a good meal. Il Contadino on Via Palazzuolo is great place with a fixed price menu. Simple excellent and quite affordable.

A side note, seggiolone is high chair /booster seat in Italian.

Cul di Sac Wine Bar on the Piazza Pasquino just south west of the Piazza Navona, Antica Taverna on Via di Monte Giordano is about a 10 minute walk west of the Piazza,

Just north east of the Campo Fiori is Hostaria Costanza on the Piazza Paridiso. The place is built into the foundation Teatro Pompeo where Ceasar was offed.
