Jelly Donuts or Sticky Buns, Ocean City, Md? I second DeVecchios. They are the best and last year they had HUGE eclairs and cream puffs. I swear they feed eight generously. |

Are you talking about O.C. MD or O.C. New Jersey? If you mean O.C. MD, my favorites are Harpoon Hannah's, Harrison's Harborwatch, Hoopers and Phillips. All are noted for their seafood but of those Phillips is the most known. They have a very extensive all you can eat buffet but it is a buffet. My favorite there is the crab lumps au-gratin. Harpoon Hannah's is good and they have the most amazing coconut muffins. A waitress continually weaves her way around with a bread basket with a wide variety of breads but my favorite are those muffins. Harrison's Harborwatch is at the boardwalk's end with a view of the inlet. Food has always been very good there as it is at Hoopers. For belly busting all you can eat, go to Waterman's. All the crabs, shrimp, crab legs and fried chicken you can eat. Last time I went it was about $30 a person. It sure isn't fancy but the food is good. Most dining in O.C. MD is casual. Get the Beachcomber flyer for other ideas and maybe coupons. They are available at the grocery stores and they're free. If you want O.C. New Jersey, I'm sorry if I wasted your time. I haven't been there myself in 40 years. ----- |

quirky personal home food combinations.... Steamed broccoli with peanut butter sauce. Take equal amounts of peanut butter and butter and nuke in the microwave until melted. Stir together and pour over broccoli. Unbelievably good. |
