1960s- Schnitzel & Knockerl at the Blaue Gans- the real one, in Salzburg. 1970s- Artichoke pizza with Gruyere & white wine sauce in Paris.1980s- Roulade Mornay on the lake in Madison, Wisc 1990s- Hazelnut Chicken Flambe at the since departed Italia in Troy, NY. 2000s- Chicken Piccata & fettucini Alfredo at Caffe Italia right here in Albany

My current drink of choice:

Springwater from the artesian well @ I-87 exit 30; iced Ceylon tea with cream, not lemon; cherry flavored seltzer (makes great pancakes too!); hot spicy Saranac Ginger Beer

I really wish I could:

Go back to Europe on an eating & sightseeing tour- it's been many years now...

My "Go-to" dinner party dish:

When it's cold out, Chipotle Whipped Sweet Potatoes or James Beard's Barley & Mushroom Casserole. When it's hot out, vichysoisse or gazpacho.
