Anthony Bourdain & Eric Ripert in Charlottesville, VA, Last Night Yes, it looks like they take the stage together quite a bit. An unlikely show to take on the road, but clearly successful: http://goo.gl/RewQo |

Anthony Bourdain & Eric Ripert in Charlottesville, VA, Last Night We were there! Such a blast. I wasn't sure what to expect, but they were both highly likable and entertaining and articulate. I would have liked them to take more audience questions, if only to hear them talk longer. |

dinner/grocery delivery ideas in charlottesville -- please help! Yes, for a few dollars they deliver right to your door. You don't even need to be there. They'll leave the containers on your stoop. Nice service! See here: http://www.relayfoods.com/HowItWorks/... |

Charlottesville sandwich takeout. Post camp dinner. I'll second Little Johns and Take It Away. Both near campus and affordable. Little Johns has tons of sandwich options to choose from and have big portions, while Take It Away is slightly higher quality ingredients but smaller portions and more of a make-your-own model. Feast is delicious but too expensive for your needs. For dinner after camp, there's Mellow Mushroom for pizza, Baja Bean for Mexican, or Boylan Heights (personal favorite) for excellent burgers with healthy options (veg or turkey patties). Teenagers will love it there. For moms, your best bet is to go to downtown mall. Hamiltons' has a decent lunch with imbibing options, but there are tons. Stroll and see what grabs you! ----- |

seeking recomendations for a great restaurant in Charlottesville, VA It depends what you mean by nice ambience and good food. Do you want elegant and upscale? Comfortable and accessible? Either way, if you only have time for one meal, be sure to go to the downtown (outdoor pedestrian) mall. It's the heart of the action, and very charming. For nicer atmosphere but still with character I like the Inn at Court Square - http://www.innatcourtsquare.com/home.... For casual outdoor seating, decent burgers or grilled ham and cheese, try Miller's (a Charlottesville institution) or The Nook. Miller's has an amazing friend green tomato salad. Sounds weird, tastes great. For brunch with atmosphere try l'etoile for the higher brow (Sunday only) or Blue Moon Diner for the lower (Sat and Sun). Hope that helps! Happy to answer any other questions... ----- |

Restaurants in Charlottesville, VA LA? Crazy talk, I tell you! Best tacos and burritos in the country are from San Diego to San Francisco, in my opinion, definitely including LA. Micho is better than a lot of places out there but the good ones out there put Micho to shame. |

Restaurants in Charlottesville, VA La Michoacana definitely has the best tacos in Charlottesville, but don't expect much if you're moving from anywhere west of Louisiana. We still have a long way to go with our Mexican food in this town... |

Restaurants in Charlottesville, VA So many great ones to choose from! We're obviously biased but like to think there's a lot to find here: http://mastomillers.com . Personally, my favorite fine dining these days is outside of town at Fossett's, but innovative tasty southern near-fine dining at Brookville on the downtown mall. Best Italian in town at Tavola. For weekend brunch/breakfast, most popular might be the Blue Grass Grill & Bakery or Blue Moon Diner, though I find Blue Moon underwhelming. Good artisan bacon, though. Tons of places serving brunch, though. l'etoile is a favorite. Casual lunch – grab good locally sourced sandwiches, salads, and soups at Revolutionary Soup, or join the Bodo's Bagel craze. ----- Revolutionary Soup Blue Moon Cafe Fossett's |
