Anybody catch Throwdown with Mark Israel of Doughnut Plant?

Imagine how demeaning this is for this guy. Picture this, Old Delilah makes her beautiful Philly Mac and Cheese.; She is excited to find out that she will have her own show. Little does she know that she will be taken over by Bobby and his crew. He challenges her to a throwdown and she goes from having her own show to being a helpless women who could be possibly embaressed at her recipe or reject the challenge and not be featured at all. Poor old grandma watches Flay tear her to pieces with his Lobster Truffle Mac with his 5 crew members as this women is embaressed on public television

New York City Top Restaurants Lackluster Desserts?

Hey Hounds,

I don't want to be discouraged by eating dessert at New York City Restaurants, but my colleagues and I have had two discouraging desserts in a row, one day at Aureole and one day at Gotham Bar and Grill. These are both EXPENSIVE Michelin Star Dining Restaurants. Am I wrong to believe that I should leave on a high note by receiving a satisfying dessert? I mean, their are only several two and three michelin star restaurants in the whole city, so do I need to go their to be satisfied with my desserts?
