Recs for gift certificate for brother and fiance to nice restaurant in Philadelphia?

I'm planning on giving them $100 towards a nice meal. It doesn't have to cover the entire meal, but I'd like it to pay for a good chunk, minus wine. They're from San Francisco, have good taste in food, and generally like restaurants that exceed their student budgets (hence the gift). I was thinking about 10 Arts, Buddakan, or Osteria but am open to any suggestions. Thanks!

Birthday dinner in the lower haight?

A friend is meeting up with friends at Toronado's in the lower haight tomorrow night for drinks. We are looking for ideas on where to take him to dinner beforehand. Anywhere in the lower haight or within walking distance (or short cab ride) is ok too! Thanks!

Desperately seeking chicken wings

My favorite wings are at Kezar Pub on Stanyan near Kezar Stadium. Fried, delicious, and very spicy.

Searching for Fried Chicken in SF

My husband and I have been craving fried chicken lately...
Any opinions on the best fried chicken here in the city?
Thanks!

lighter fare at Suppenkuche?

Ok, I know this sounds like an oxymoron
But I need to be at a work function this evening for drinks/appetizers at Two, and then I am meeting friends for a late dinner at Suppenkuche. Suppenkuche doesn't strike me as the kind of place that is good for second dinners. I'm a fan of the heavier dishes, but I was just wondering if anyone had any opinions on some of the appetizers/salads they offer?
Thanks

Help! Where to eat for 30+ people near Berkeley campus

Mario's la Fiesta (Haste and Telegraph) used to have a banquet room down the street...may not be as nice as you were looking for but pretty decent Mexican food.

Noise level?

Hi - My husband and I are having dinner with our in-laws Wednesday night. We have reservations at Incanto. I was wondering what the noise level is like there? My father in-law is a little hard of hearing and I hate for him to feel like he is left out of dinner converstaions. For example, Nopa was way too loud for him. I know it is short notice, but any advice, other recomendations?
Thanks
