Oriental Pearl dim sum

I like Lin Garden a lot ,but definitely miss the old Ming Garden dim sum buffet+cart in Nashua, Natick/etc. Is there anywhere else in the Merrimack Valley/southern NH with a similar deal to either?

Where to find a selection of loose tea? Real tea, not the fruity ones

I've been a loyal customer at Upton for years, and have never been disappointed!

IHOP coming to Nashua NH

This place has arrived, and it was bad. Not that I had any great expectations, but after I was seated, it took so long for a server to acknowledge me that I was just about ready to leave. Once I ordered,it took only about a minute for some tiny, rubbery, tasteless (nuked?) pancakes to arrive. At one point during my meal, I dared put my fork down for a few seconds to take a sip of my soda and the server who had grossly ignored me earlier swooped in at warp speed without warning from behind to clear my plate and I had to inform her I wasn't finished. Duh..... I think its all about turning tables and the place was actually busy.

Taiwanese cusine--New restaurant in Nashua NH

Well???!! I'm still curious about this place. I was nosing around the greater Boston boards and liked what I saw posted on the Lexington location's food.. I did go in the Nashua place once to pick up a menu and aside of the usual Chinese fare, it looked good and the atmosphere looked fairly Asian-attractive. A friend and a few others went for the lunch buffet and said it was a typical Chinese lunch buffet. which is in keeping with what their taste, but I'd like something a bit different. They got a good review in the local paper which mentioned that they serve dim sum on weekends. There has been a dearth of good dim sum in the area since Ming Garden exited some years ago. Can anyone confirm?

Tony & Ann's FAMOUS Pizza

This place is the reincarnation of a local institution. Back in the day when it was located in North Chlemsford, the pizza was described to me by friends as sweet and greasy. I was told that by the time one could get it home, the toppings would have slid off into the box on a tide of gooey cheese. I tried it once, and would say that was an accurate assessment. The sauce was sickenly sweet, and I've heard tell that brown sugar just might be a component. Disgusting.

That being said, when they reopened at the current location in Dracut, it was mayhem. People were eating and quaffing a few for 2-3 hours at other local establishments while waiting for their memories to be rekindled. Not bad for a place that's only open 3 days a week., but I just don't get it.
