Hilarious! I honestly can't wait to come! Thanks again for all the great suggestions!

Thanks everyone for the advice! We will absolutely re-think Aqua Riva. Can anyone recommend someplace cool near Canada Place? (This is on Canada Day too, so any thoughts on that would be helpful also).

Hi friends-
The husband and I are spending our summer vacation in Vancouver and Victoria in July for 9 days. We are planning our itinerary now, and it is so far jam-packed! Each day is literally filled to the brim with touristy spots, and yummy food. My worry is that after a full day of touring in our casual clothes (shorts/t-shirts/sneakers/flip-flops) will we be able go go to nice dinners and still feel "appropriate"? Alternately, we could bring clothes to change into somewhere before dinner, but that's annoying!

Some places on our list include Aqua Riva, Salt, Raincity Grill, Vij's, and something Izakaya (I can't remember the name). Should I suck it up and pack nicer clothes? My sister-in-law says that Vancouver restaurants are pretty casual, but I'm worried that we are TOO casual. Help?
