I was looking for a romantic dinner restaurant mostly with japanese theme, but Ki and Nami, and Blowfish are closed on Monday.

Can you guys recommend something similar that is NOT closed this monday? Great ambiance, rather than food, is the priority.

Help! - Best Sushi Ambiance - Romantic, Quiet, Not Crowded, Intimate (Downtown Toronto)

Thanks so much for the suggestion, I have lots of ideas now... it's strange if you think about it that no japanese restaurant is really targeted to the romantic audience

Nami or Ki --- which is best for a romantic, quiet, great ambiance evening?

After doing a lot of research, it seems that the two options that would fit more closely what I am looking for are Nami or Ki.

I'm looking for a sushi place that has a great ambiance including decor, quiet place, romantic, etc. -- a memorable experience.

I have been to both Nami and Ki, but would like to know people's opinions.

Which of the two do you think is the best for a romantic date, if the main purpose was conversation and not food?

Isn't this a crowded and noisy place?

Help! - Best Sushi Ambiance - Romantic, Quiet, Not Crowded, Intimate (Downtown Toronto)

Thank you all for your suggestions. I have been to Nami and agree that it's rather nice but not necessarily romantic. Someone suggested Ki, but maybe the same. Are there no more romantic sushi places around?

Help! - Best Sushi Ambiance - Romantic, Quiet, Not Crowded, Intimate (Downtown Toronto)

Hi,

I am looking for suggestions on a very nice Sushi restaurant downtown Toronto. The quality of the sushi is NOT the most important thing; the Ambiance is.

Looking for something that is romantic, intimate, quiet and not crowded -- likely for a Wednesday evening.

Ideally in he core of downtown; or at least within Toronto - south of Bloor.

This is for an important first meeting so it has to be a fantastic place. Price is not a problem; as long as the service, ambiance, and intimacy is there.

It doesn't need to be sushi, but that is the preference.

Any suggestions? I would appreciate your help.
