I stopped by Clyde's once to try it out. It seems to be closed 3 days out of every 4...no regular schedule as I go by it everyday on my way to and from work. I grabbed a full rack of spare ribs, their beans, mac & cheese and a 1/2 pound of their brisket. Overall I was pretty let down - and I'm not that much of a bbq snob. My favorite was the brisket - it had a smoke ring a fully 1/3 - 1/2 inch in and was very tender with a good smoky flavor. Everything else was forgetable. One of the owners game me a full rack of spareribs right off of the grill but they were dried out and tough. The bean were nothing more than a can of beans - nothing more. The mac & cheese was bland, very bland - but some may like it that way. I miss Greg's joint allot. If anyone finds out where he went, please let me know. Thanks! |

So I am saddened to see that Greg's BBQ has either shut down for good or moved elsewhere. Does anyone know where bychance he has moved to? He was just about the best for me in NE Seattle. |
