Thanks for all the suggestions guys. Highlights of our trip were lunya, a Catalonian tapas and deli just off Hanover st, decent wine and quality ingredients. Leaf was fine to collapse into a sofa and enjoy a pot of tea and a piece of cake. Went to Panoramic for lunch and the view really is superb, set lunch was about £25 and the cooking was a bit amateurish and clumsy, not awful, just wouldn't reccomend paying dinner prices. Delifonseca was lively for a late breakfast, cool, good ingredients and very chilled out. Thanks again guys

Has anybody got any good foodie ideas for Liverpool? Anything from a good sandwich up to fine dining.

I second that Paul, am thinking about making my own if I can obtain some raw milk. Nothing else comes close to clotted cream on top of scones!

Does anyone have any idea where I could find proper clotted cream. I know The Sparrow have had it on there menu but cant seem to find it anywhere

The best Indian food in Edinburgh is at kebab mahal on Nicholson square. It's the real thing, there is no alcohol allowed and you eat off Formica tables. The curries really are fantastic but it is not a romantic date night restaurant!

I have to admit I am English and have never seen it over here. All I can say in its defense is that is makes a good mixer. It doesn't really taste of lemons and has probably never seen a real lemon but mixed with pimms, mint, cucumber and strawberries, it is summer. I'll keep trying!

Does anybody know of a place where i can buy Schweppes Lemonade in Montreal? Pimms season is coming up and there is no better way to celebrate the sunshine.
