You Are Ordering Wings at Buff's

I generally try to approach a wing review with an open mind and an empty stomach, but for the first time I really wanted to dislike the wings I was about to review. When people put something on such a high pedestal, you naturally want to be the one to knock it off. Unfortunately for my ego (but not for my taste buds), I am going to have to get in line with the Buff’s crowd and concede that this unassuming hole-in-the-wall bar serves a mean Buffalo wing.

Are Buff's Pub wings really all that ?

Everyone seems to think Buffs Pub in Newton has the best wings in Boston ... Is it really worth the pilgrimage out there? Anyone know a restaurant in Boston with comparable wings?

Help me find lunch near my new office on Canal Street!

There are a couple of really great options either right on Canal or just off it. Mulligan's, Osteria Rustico, J Pace and Sons as some others have said are all great. Go to Mulligans and order the Country Club its one of the best sandwiches I have ever had! Just make sure to get there before 12 or after 1:00 .

Any good eats in Malden?

Habesha one of the best Ethiopian Restaurants in all of Boston is located in Malden. Its unassuming compared to say the Red Sea in the South End but the food is out of this world and the Honey wine is fantastic. Really a must for any serious foodie. One tip is Saturday night it can get super crowded so go on a week night or early.

White Castle [split from discussion on General Chowhounding Topics board]

Why doesn’t Boston have a White Castle restaurant? We at are trying to make the case for it !

Boston’s Kenmore Square area would be a perfect location for a White Castle restaurant. The area is swarming with college students. At around 70 cents for a hamburger and 90 cents for a cheeseburger, college kids would flock to a White Castle both during the week and weekends.

If located close to Fenway Park, there will be no shortage of patrons looking for a quick bite to eat before and after the game. No matter how much people eat or drink at the park or any of the bars around Fenway Park, they will have room for a sack of Belly Bombers for the way home.
