Sunday Brunch/Lunch before Jersey Boys

I had a gret brunch at Marsaille before seeing a show last Sunday. Great brunch food and cozy restaurant. It could be a good choice for you. I've also been to Chelasa Grill in the area and enjoyed there food too.

Wild Fusion in Mohegan Lake?

What are the other good Asian options in the area? I've tried Bangkok Spice and that is a decent place, nothing too special.

Restaurant Week options in Putnam & Dutchess County

I'm new to the area and looking for contemporary American restaurant in the Putnam/Duchess area. What're the must try places for dinner? We're looking for contemporary American but open to other great options too. Thank you!!!

Wild Fusion in Mohegan Lake?

I was there a couple of weeks ago on Saturday night. The staffw as friendly, we didn't have a reservation so had about a 30min wait. The food is average but it is a nice addition to the area. I liked the sushi and would go back if I were in the area.

Japanese on UES

I'm looking for a Japanese restaurant for a second dinner on UES (planning to have chinese for the first dinner from suggestions found here earlier) next Friday. I'm looking for a low to moderately priced place ($20-25 per person without drinks or dessert) Preferably in the 60th/70th area. Thank you.

Birthday Brunch- Help Please , It's Urgent

I posted on this forum a few weeks ago brunch suggestions for my husband's b'day. I decided on Park Avenue Autumn from the comments. However, I was never able to make a reservation online for a party of about10 through open table and just found out that it is indeed not possible to accommodate my group that day. I'm panicking!!!!

My options are Fig & Olive (but not sure if we can do the prix fixe menu if our party is over 8)

I also picked out Chat Noir.

Any other suggestions: A prix fixe is ideal, contemporary, american, spanish or french cuisine.
The price is $30pp without drinks or dessert.
Ideally located near central park.

Please help!!!

Sorry for being too general. We live in the middle in ossining, so looking for something in either direction. Looking for American, Contemporary or Italian. I've heard of great things about Zeph's

Dinner in Yorktown heights/Tarrytown area

I'm planning a dinner with a small group in the Northern Westchester area. I'm thinking of Jennifer's German restaurant or Solmar in Tarrytown? I haven't been to either place.
Any opinions?
Any other recommendations in the near by area are welcome (peekskill, ossining)

Ethiopian in Mount Kisco?

I ate there on Friday for dinner. We ordered the Vegetarian platter and a chicken cube dish. I was disappointed. The curries lacked spice and flavor. But the injera was very fresh and soft. Next time I'm in the mood for Ethiopian, I'll certainly head to NYC.

Asian Cuisine in Brooklyn

I'm looking for some good (but very high end or fancy) asian restaurants near Prospect park, park slope, Wiliiamsburgh or Brighton beach area. Any type of Asian (Malaysian, Thai, Japanese, Chinese) is fine. Even a good dim sum place would be good for us.

Thank you so much for your help. It will be my first time in Brooklyn

Dinner for 10 in Northern Westchester

Hi, I'm having family over in mid sept for dinner on a Saturday. What restaurant would you recommend? The preferred cuisines are American, Italian & Spanish.

I'm thinking about $20-25 per person without drinks & dessert. We live in Ossining, so anything in Northern Westchster works.

Out door seating or a riverside restaurant is a plus though not a necessity.

Thank you,

Dessert bar for a group of 10

Dessert bar for a group of 10

I'm planning to take a group of 8 to a dessert bar after brunch. We're having brunch at park Avenue Summer and then after some sight seeing plan to go for dessert. Any location is preferable. Please give me suggestions. I thought of chikalicious but feel the place can't accomodate such a big group. Please help!

Restaurant recommendations for family outing

I will be having family visit this upcoming weekend. There will be three kids under 13 and about 5-6 adults. We like asian food but other cuisines are definitely acceptable. Restaurants that not too expensive and easy to get to are ideal. Some choices I've been thinking of are Spice (thai food) & Sarabeths. Any suggestions for good dessert places for the kids would also be great.
Any recommendations in Brooklyn or Coney island would be good too
Thanks a lot.

Birthday Brunch

Thanks so much for the suggestions. I'm leaning towards Park Avenue Autumn, Water Club or Jane after my online research. If I decide on Park Avenue Autumn, I'm thinking of heading to a dessert place later on. Any suggestions, My initial take was lady M boutique or Le Pain Quotidein. I appreciate your suggestions so much. Thank you!!!

Birthday Brunch

I'm looking to a great place to host my husband's 30th b'day brunch. Any place in the city with great views and good food. I'm looking for American/French brunch options. I'm not sure how much the price scale should be. I'll be paying for everyone (~12 people) so I want to keep it under control (~ideally 30-40 per person but more if it is truly worth it.

Any suggestions? What might we do after to entertain our out of town guests?

I'm also thinking of having brunch and dessert in two different places. what do you think?

One option is to have brunch at the boat house and then walk around central Park. But I'm desperately looking for other choices. The event will be in mid Sept. Please help

NYC for 30th birthday

Thanks Kathryn. I'm not sure what the budget should be I'm thinking around $125-150/per person max. I want our parents to be comfortable and enjoy as well...so that leaves bars and lounges out of the question. I want the food to be great and also the overall experience, which is why i thought of dancing..or maybe a dessert bar. not specific on neighborhoods, but the food I'm looking for is; seafood, American, spanish, italian. I'm definitely looking for a sit down dinner.
